If you’re registered at a GP practice in Walkden or Little Hulton and care about the services and appointments your surgery offers, let’s talk!
Let’s talk if you’ve got views or ideas about what practices can do differently to help people who need that little extra support!
If you don’t mind being contacted by email now and again to ask your views about our practices, let’s talk!
We invite you to join our Patient Engagement Network
Walkden & Little Hulton Primary Care Network is looking for people from all walks of life across our area to tell us how we can make local GP services better and improve health issues that matter most to you.
Not to patients in Trafford or Openshaw – issues that matter right here in Walkden and Little Hulton.
How do I join the Patient Engagement Network?
We’d like to hear as many opinions as possible. We’d like to contact you by email every now and again to:
- Take part in short 5-minute surveys
- Share ideas and stories about your experiences with our services
- Join live video discussions about popular health topics with our clinicians
It’s up to you what you respond to. All your views are kept in the strictest confidence.
Our GPs and practice teams read every response and you’ll receive regular feedback about how your contribution is making a difference. Because they really are essential and shape what we choose to do next.

Common questions about the Patient Engagement Network
Why are you asking patients for their contact details?
We would like to be able to contact patients and carers occasionally to ask them questions about their practice and how well local practices are doing to identify areas for improvement.
Will my doctor see this information?
This information is purely to contact patients to ask them questions about local practices, how well we are doing and ensure changes are being made are patient-focused.
If your doctor is responsible for making some of the changes in their practice, they might see general feedback from patients.
Will the questions you ask me be medical or personal?
We will only ask general questions about the practice, such as short questionnaires.
Who else will be able to access my contact details?
Your contact details will be kept safely and securely and will only be used for this purpose and will not be shared with anyone else.
How often will you contact me?
Not very often; once every month or two at the most.
What if I no longer wish to be on the contact list or if I leave the area?
We will ask you to let us know by email if you do not wish to receive further messages.
